ATLAS started at the European Defense Tech Hackathon in Prague, May 2026. Two high school students, a real problem from the front, and two days to build something that works.
The event
The European Defense Tech Hackathon brought together over 100 participants at EY offices in Prague — investors, operators, engineers, and defense professionals working on real problems over two days.
The problem came from soldiers who had been on the front. We spoke directly with them about what actually breaks down in the field — how units track logistics through spreadsheets, voice messages, and paper forms, how nothing joins up, and how command never sees a complete picture until it's too late.
ATLAS is built on that. Not a hypothetical problem — a real one, described by people dealing with it right now.
By Saturday we had a working prototype. On Sunday we presented it in English in front of an international defense audience at Milovice airport — among 28 teams.
